Project Description

At the heart of Groningen stands the Forum, a meeting place for anyone curious about the world of today and the possibilities of tomorrow.

Commissioned by Storax b.v. and BAM Bouw en Techniek, SPARQ installed all glass balustrades on and in the new Groninger Forum

SPARQ installed more than 600 metres of glass balustrades in this project. The glass balustrades were installed at the car park and its entrance, the roof terrace, atrium, grandstand and cinema stairs. A man-high glass balustrade was installed at the roof terrace and, in the car park, a three-dimensional curved glass balustrade running up the floors of the car park. A canopy structure was also installed above the entrance and strip railings were installed in the stairwells.
