Grand Hotel Knokke at Knokke
Project Description
On the Zeedijk in Knokke stands the majestic Grand Hotel. The hotel was built after W.W.II because of the many tourists. The imposing building was eventually split into Grand Hôtel Motke and Nouvel Hôtel. Then, in 1986, the Grand Hôtel was demolished and replaced by a tall apartment building.
In collaboration with Aluform, SPARQ was able to replace the wooden railings with full-glass balustrades.
In this project, SPARQ installed 2200 metres of full glass balustrade on the U-Line Top system. The horizontal balustrade was realised by applying the SPARQ drop-out block.
