STVV football stadium in Saint Trondes
Project Description
The stadium, which first consisted of concrete and aluminium sheets, is now built mainly of brick and glass. The decision to use a lot of glass was made to ensure that all floors have a good view of the pitch and its beautiful surroundings.
Plenty of natural light falls in everywhere. Two 110-metre-wide glass screens allow football fans to follow the ball safely and with maximum visibility from the fourth and fifth floors. The stadium's VIP lounges are equipped with glazed parapets. Stairs, walkway, ramps and walkways could all be executed with one universal type profile.
