Products & Systems
What types of glass balustrade systems do you supply?
Among others, the U-Line Top 1kN and 2kN , U-Line Side 1kN and 2kN, V-Line 1kN and 2kN and the Y-Line 1kN and 2kN, tailored to application and load.
What is the difference between U-Line, V-Line and Y-Line?
Mounting method, profile geometry and load class vary according to system and application.
Do you offer top and side mounting?
Yes, both top-mounted and side-mounted systems are available.
What glass thicknesses are possible?
Depending on norm and wind load: frequently chosen configurations are laminated/hardened glass (e.g. 6/6 to 12/12).
How do you include wind loads?
We charge standard wind pressure in engineering and choose system/glass accordingly.
Do you also supply for high wind loads?
Yes, there are balustrade profiles and glass balustrades for heavier loads and higher buildings.
Do you supply accessories such as hand rail and rubbers?
Yes, including glass supports, rubbers, covers and hand rails.
What are filler/filler blocks and when are they needed?
Filler blocks correct tolerance and ensure tight, angular and watertight installation of the glass balustrade.
Can you deliver prefabs?
Yes, where possible prefab we components to mounting accelerate.
How do you integrate handrails/handrails?
As top finish or integrated in the system, depending on design and standard.
Design & Engineering
Are colour finishes possible?
Yes, profiles can we anodising or powder-coating in RAL colours.
How do you deal with tolerances?
Systems have adjustment options with rubbers and shims to accommodate building tolerances.
Do you also supply curved glass?
Yes indeed but only on request; depending on radius, standard and feasibility within the project.
What is the maximum balustrade height?
Determined by standard, wind load and system selection; we advise on a project-by-project basis.
Do you supply stair balustrades (diagonal)?
Yes, including solutions for stair stringers/stringers and sloping applications.
Do you offer fall protection screens?
Yes indeed, that is possible; we coordinate safety requirements and detailing with the structural engineer.
Do you help in the design phase?
Yes, with advice, detailed drawings and system selection based on requirements and aesthetics.
Do you provide CAD/BIM details?
Yes, technical documentation and details are available by system.
How is coordination with architect/constructor going?
We engage early, share details and incorporate feedback into the engineering.
What design freedom do you offer?
Choice in mounting, profile finish, glass construction, height, hand rail and colour.
Assembly & Execution
Do you take into account assembly sequence/accessibility?
Yes, assembly plan and logistics are part of our project preparation.
Do you advise on maintenance and longevity?
Yes, we provide maintenance advice and appropriate cleaning guidelines per project.
How do you connect to floor/roof/facade?
With system profiles, rubbers and fixing materials according to the details and substrate.
Do you have reference projects?
Yes, diverse residential and non-residential projects throughout the Netherlands and Belgium.
Do you also provide editing?
Yes, we can deliver and mount with its own logistics and mechanics.
How does assembly work on construction?
According to detailed drawings, with precise alignment, fixing and final finishing.
How long does assembly take?
Depending on metres, accessibility and complexity; we plan in advance.
What challenges do you see in assembly?
Tolerances, weather, logistics and tight alignment; we anticipate with plan and means.
How do you secure dimensions?
Through accurate surveying, trial placement where necessary and adjustability in the system.
Safety & standards
How do you arrange logistics/transportation?
Coordinated deliveries with project planning and clear unloading instructions.
How to deal with temperature/expansion?
Profile choice and rubbers provide expansion space and stress reduction.
How do you ensure mechanic safety?
Following works official guidelines, fall protection and proper means at height.
Is there quality control after assembly?
Yes, delivery inspection and check for alignment, fastening and finishing.
What standards do you meet?
Design and execution in accordance with relevant NEN/EN standards and project-specific requirements.
How do you secure fall protection/minimum heights?
We design according to standard heights and uses; this is verified in engineering.
How do you incorporate wind loads into the design?
With calculations on site height and terrain; direct results glass- and profile choice.
Do you provide static calculations?
Yes, on project basis we provide calculations and substantiation.
What happens in case of glass damage or breakage?
Laminated glass sticks; we replace panel and restore finish.
How do you arrange maintenance and inspection?
Periodic visual inspection, cleaning and check of rubbers/fasteners.
Quotations & project planning
What about liability/insurance?
According to contract and conditions; we deliver according to standard and specification.
