The former Scheringa Museum in Opmeer has been given a new purpose under the name Licht op Meer. Where the building stood empty for many years, it has now been completely transformed into a modern residential complex with owner-occupied and rented homes.

Oosterzijderpark - Zaandam

At the Oosterzijderpark project in Zaandam, SPARQ Balustrades supplied the fall-through screens in 2022. These were fitted with point holders, which were used by client Kumij to attach the screens safely and aesthetically to the plastic window frames.

In cooperation with Qbiq Wall Systems, we provided 310 metres of glass balustrade, finished in the sleek Y-Line profile. The balustrades are placed along voids and walkways scattered throughout the building and contribute to the transparent and open architecture characteristic of this project.

Bejo Zaden Warmenhuizen

De Geus Bouw commissioned us to realise various curved glass balustrades and the steel main staircase for the sustainable and architecturally striking office building of Bejo Zaden in Warmenhuizen. The balustrades are made of the U-Line Top system on steel brackets, with different radii to fit seamlessly into the organic shapes of the building.

Overlooking the Lower Rhine, we supplied approximately 140 metres of glass balustrades for this stylish apartment complex on Hulkesteinseweg in Arnhem. Commissioned by Kuiper Arnhem Bouw & Ontwikkeling and designed by Veldhoven Bouwkundig Tekenbureau, we fitted balconies, roof terraces, entrances, stairs and sliding doors with the U-Line Top system on steel brackets.

Park Nova Deventer

oor the modern apartment complex Park Nova in the Zandweerd district, we realised the glass balustrades along 54 balconies - some 370 metres in total - on behalf of PHB Bouw. The U-Line side profiles are finished with a custom-made aluminium cover for a sleek look.

On behalf of Kumij, we supplied 67 glass fall-through screens for an apartment complex in Enschede. The screens, mounted on plastic frames with point holders, feature a unique screen-printing pattern specially designed for this project.

Commissioned by Bouwbedrijf Speelman and designed by René van der Burgh, we provided the balustrades along the representative entrance staircase and the void on the first floor.

Gymworld Zoetermeer is entirely dedicated to gymnastics and related sports. The sports building consists of two gymnastics halls, a trampoline hall, a hall for freerunning and a sports medical centre. In this project, SPARQ realised some 80 metres of full glass balustrade along (mainly) the stands.

Rituals opened a shop on the corner of Kalverstraat and Spui in Amsterdam in honour of its 20th anniversary. For this, SPARQ, in collaboration with Snep Exclusieve metalen B.V., realised a full glass balustrade of approximately 75 metres on three floors.

An industrial building with plenty of space for this mid-sized architectural firm. The office has a beautiful void connecting the two floors of the office. In cooperation with Matel Metaal, SPARQ Balustrades realised the full-glass balustrade along this void.

The estate farm 'Semper Virens' is located on the Oranjewoud estate. This farmhouse was completely renovated under architecture. SPARQ supplied and installed the railings along the void and stairs in this beautiful property.
