Nathaliegang - Zoetermeer
For the apartment complex on the Nathaliegang, SPARQ Balustrades supplied and installed U-Line Top glass balustrades, finished with a gradient screen print in the glass.
Newly built office - Bergambacht
For the new construction of the offices of De Langen & van den Berg Vastgoed B.V., SPARQ Balustrades realised an eye-catcher: the U-Line Top balustrade in a unique gold colour, finished with elegant curved elements.
Light on More - Opmeer
The former Scheringa Museum in Opmeer has been given a new purpose under the name Licht op Meer. Where the building stood empty for many years, it has now been completely transformed into a modern residential complex with owner-occupied and rented homes.
Oosterzijderpark - Zaandam
At the Oosterzijderpark project in Zaandam, SPARQ Balustrades supplied the fall-through screens in 2022. These were fitted with point holders, which were used by client Kumij to attach the screens safely and aesthetically to the plastic window frames.
Kroonzicht - Nieuw Vennep
For Kroonzicht in Nieuw Vennep, SPARQ Balustrades took care of the complete supply and assembly of various balustrade solutions. Commissioned by De Geus Bouw and designed by Enzo Architectuur, we realised this project, which was completed in 2022.
Gorlaeus Building, Leiden University
In cooperation with Qbiq Wall Systems, we provided 310 metres of glass balustrade, finished in the sleek Y-Line profile. The balustrades are placed along voids and walkways scattered throughout the building and contribute to the transparent and open architecture characteristic of this project.
Bejo Zaden Warmenhuizen
De Geus Bouw commissioned us to realise various curved glass balustrades and the steel main staircase for the sustainable and architecturally striking office building of Bejo Zaden in Warmenhuizen. The balustrades are made of the U-Line Top system on steel brackets, with different radii to fit seamlessly into the organic shapes of the building.
Flats Hulkensteinseweg Arnhem
Overlooking the Lower Rhine, we supplied approximately 140 metres of glass balustrades for this stylish apartment complex on Hulkesteinseweg in Arnhem. Commissioned by Kuiper Arnhem Bouw & Ontwikkeling and designed by Veldhoven Bouwkundig Tekenbureau, we fitted balconies, roof terraces, entrances, stairs and sliding doors with the U-Line Top system on steel brackets.
Park Nova Deventer
oor the modern apartment complex Park Nova in the Zandweerd district, we realised the glass balustrades along 54 balconies - some 370 metres in total - on behalf of PHB Bouw. The U-Line side profiles are finished with a custom-made aluminium cover for a sleek look.
Drop-down screens for flats in Enschede
On behalf of Kumij, we supplied 67 glass fall-through screens for an apartment complex in Enschede. The screens, mounted on plastic frames with point holders, feature a unique screen-printing pattern specially designed for this project.
SV Parkhout - Nieuwegein
For the new football accommodation of merged club SV Parkhout in Nieuwegein, we installed around 60 metres of glass balustrade, completely in 3kN.
The Romein Group Veendam
For the new head office of De Romein Groep in Veendam, we supplied and installed approximately 37 metres of U-Line Top glass balustrade. Commissioned by Bouwbedrijf Speelman and designed by René van der Burgh, we provided the balustrades along the representative entrance staircase and the void on the first floor.
De Welle swimming pool in Drachten
For the much-discussed swimming centre De Welle in Drachten, designed by Hooper Architects and built by Bouwgroep Dijkstra Draisma, we realised approximately 58 metres of glass balustrades along the grandstand of the competition pool.
Flat Complex Uretrep
Commissioned by Bouwbedrijf Fokko Reitsma, we realised the balustrades for this stylish apartment complex in Ureterp in collaboration with Studio JK. Both the balconies and the storey-high French balconies were fitted with our U-Line Top and J-Line systems.
Lely Center Heerenveen
For the Lelycenter in Heerenveen, SPARQ Balustrades supplied and installed approximately 24 metres of balustrade. This project includes a SPARQ V-Line balustrade along the void and a U-Side balustrade against the stairs, combining both safety and sleek design.
Throne 17 in Ostend
On the Zeedijk, Global Estate Group is developing this unique new construction project with frontal sea views. SPARQ proudly supplied the balustrade profiles for this project, including the U-Top, U-Side, V-Line and Y-Line. The realisation of the balustrades was carried out by Aluform from Maldegem.
The Cath Utrecht
In collaboration with Qbiq b.v. and commissioned by Pleijsier Bouw, SPARQ supplied and assembled the glass balustrades. The glass balustrades are located along the staircases, voids, entrance landings and roof terraces (approx. 330m).
Golf venue Chi Chi Utrecht
The order consisted of approximately 50m1 of glass balustrade fitted with the SPARQ U-Line Side profile. Equipped with an attractive black lacquered cover cap and handrail over the glass.
Vaartzicht Appelscha
Commissioned by Bouwgroep De Jong and Drachtster Glashandel, SPARQ realised the French balconies at the newly built houses/apartments in Appelscha.
Forum Groningen
In the heart of Groningen stands the Forum, a meeting place for everyone curious about today's world and tomorrow's possibilities. Commissioned by Storax b.v. and BAM Bouw en Techniek, SPARQ installed all the glass balustrades on and in the new Groninger Forum.
Gymworld Zoetermeer
Gymworld Zoetermeer is entirely dedicated to gymnastics and related sports. The sports building consists of two gymnastics halls, a trampoline hall, a hall for freerunning and a sports medical centre. In this project, SPARQ realised some 80 metres of full glass balustrade along (mainly) the stands.
The Two Cheetahs
During the renovation in 2021, SPARQ realised 35m of glass balustrades for the ramp, stairs and valance. SPARQ realised the staircase using a steel staircase construction with a double stringer for glass balustrade clamping.
nhow Amsterdam RAI Hotel
Pleijsier Bouwgroep built the RAI Hotel on Amsterdam's Zuidas business district. All roof terraces received sliding gates on all two sides, which were developed, manufactured and assembled by SPARQ.
House of Rituals
Rituals opened a shop on the corner of Kalverstraat and Spui in Amsterdam in honour of its 20th anniversary. For this, SPARQ, in collaboration with Snep Exclusieve metalen B.V., realised a full glass balustrade of approximately 75 metres on three floors.
Lauswolt country estate
In the beautiful woods of Beetsterzwaag lies Friesland's best-kept secret: five-star hotel Landgoed Lauswolt. In collaboration with Van Wijnen Gorredijk, SPARQ was given the task of giving the estate an innovative look.
The Three Musketeers
De Drie Musketiers (Porthos, Athos and Aramis) in Leek involves the construction of new apartment buildings. In this project, SPARQ realised 475 metres of glass balustrade and fitted some balconies with privacy screens.
Villa Bergen aan Zee
Several unusual structures were used in the project. Most striking is the forward-sloping balustrade on the balcony outside.
The warehouse
In this project, SPARQ realised the glass balustrades, both with point holders and based on our U-Line Top profile, the French balconies based on our J-Line system and some privacy screens.
Villa Schoorl
For Villa Schoorl, we were asked to supply and install the railings along the balconies and vide, as well as the glass wall along the stairs, both inside and outside.
Residence Rodin
Newly built flats near the beach and Lippenslaan in Knokke. Railings and typesetting bronze anodised.
Grand Hotel Knokke
On the Zeedijk in Knokke stands the majestic Grand Hotel. The hotel was built after W.W.II because of the many tourists. In cooperation with Aluform, SPARQ was allowed to replace the wooden balustrades with full-glass ones.
Main office ZZDP Architects
An industrial building with plenty of space for this mid-sized architectural firm. The office has a beautiful void connecting the two floors of the office. In cooperation with Matel Metaal, SPARQ Balustrades realised the full-glass balustrade along this void.
Semper Virens
The estate farm 'Semper Virens' is located on the Oranjewoud estate. This farmhouse was completely renovated under architecture. SPARQ supplied and installed the railings along the void and stairs in this beautiful property.
MFC Doelum
In a beautiful green area surrounded by small-scale housing developments, MFC Doelum was designed as a social heart for the municipality of Renkum. SPARQ replaced the barred fences in this complex, completed in 2017, with full glass balustrades.
Brede school De Fliert in Twello
At the De Fliert broad-based school in Twello, replacement new buildings will accommodate three primary schools, a BSO and a new playgroup. In addition, the existing accommodation of two day-care centres has been retained.
Hogekwartier sports complex
Amerena is the new sports complex in Amersfoort's Hogekwartier. The complex is a unique sports and meeting place in the city.
Amacitia
What was once known as 'the ugliest building in Leeuwarden' became a new, beautiful city gate. The all-round terraces with glass balustrades provide wide views and the outside world enters through the facades.
TNO
the new laboratory for the joint accommodation of the TNO Bouwlab research group and the TNO Energy&Comfort System research group, is a modern building in which the use of glass balustrades almost goes without saying.
Enexis
Enexis' regional office in Maastricht proves how to use energy economically. Their building is a model of flexibility: it has a modular and demountable construction system. In the interior, glass balustrades play a prominent role.
Shopping centre
Shopping centre in Wijnegem, is the largest and most successful shopping centre in the Benelux. The renovation involved replacing the old-fashioned steel railings with transparent glass for more commercial schwung.
Van der Valk Hotel
Van der Valk Hotel in Hoorn, The new Van der Valk complex on the A7 near Hoorn consists of a hotel, cinema and casino. The various facilities are accessed via a large central hall, where a lot of glass has been used.
Hotel Bussloo
Hotel Bussloo in Bussloo, is an exclusive wellness hotel in a beautiful forest area on the edge of Lake Bussloo. Atmosphere and experience were central to the design. The glass balustrades in the interior play an important role in this.
Antwerp-Berchem railway station
Antwerp-Berchem station in Voorst, received a new entrance in the form of a transparent bicycle shed. The glass construction allows natural light to enter at each level.
STVV football stadium
The STVV football stadium in Sint Truiden, has made the choice to use a lot of glass to ensure that all floors have a good view of the pitch and the beautiful surroundings.
ASML 6KLM offices
The ASML 6KLM office complex in Veldhoven, designed by BroekBakema, offers a modern workplace spread over four floors, strategically placed on top of the new 5L logistics centre.
